Ch-ch-changes!

Unless you're blind, you may have noticed a few changes around here. Changes in the form of a new name, a new blog design, and a new shop look and I am IN LOVE. If you're wondering who did all the beautiful work, look no further than Chelsea at Olive & Ivy Designs (formerly Yours Truly Designs). If you need any design work done, she is amazing to work with!

My weekend wasn't too eventful besides revamping my brand, finally seeing Les Miserables, having dinner and $1.20 mimosas! with some of the best friends in Fayetteville, and sadly putting up all of our Christmas decorations. Hey, we were out of town so much in December that I only thought it appropriate to leave up our tree for some extra viewing time. That totally makes sense, right? If you agree, kindly let Leo know because he's a grinch all year round.

So maybe I did have a busy weekend.

I'm now linking up with the beautiful Jenn for my first 5 for Five of the year!

PartyOfOne

I feel like I'm drowning in overdue to-do lists, but I'm hoping if I can at least get 5 things done this week, it'll be more than an accomplishment

1. Check off my bridal to-do list (and send out some emails)
My first full-service bridal client is getting married in March, and everything is really starting to come together, but I'm a bit behind on a few emails. Once I get those taken care of, it'll be smoothish sailing!

2. Get laundry put up!
It seems like my entire closet is in laundry baskets at the moment. All of the clothes are magically clean, they just haven't made it back to their hangars and drawers in a bit. Poor homeless clothes

3. Clean the guest room
Leo's idea of putting up the Christmas decorations (and cleaning in general) is just taking everything that's cluttering the downstairs and throwing it in the guest room upstairs. While it does make our living room look clean and tidy, at the moment we can't hardly walk in the guest room to use the printer because the Christmas stuff is clogging the doorway and it's driving me insane!!

4. Cook dinner at least 3 nights this week
I did really well at this a couple weeks ago, but last week got pretty busy and then I almost set my kitchen on fire, so I'm hoping I can really redeem myself this week. Leo has work Thursday and Friday nights, so if I cook dinner Monday-Wednesday, I would again be Queen of the Kitchen. Oh, dreams...

5. Make it to bed by midnight at the latest
I don't know what's going on with me, but I've had the worst time sleeping lately! Like "not falling asleep until 4am", "only getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night for about a week" bad sleeping. I'm turning into a mad woman. And I don't take melatonin because it gives me terrible dreams and wakes me up every other hour..why? My body hates me.

Have you done this linkup? I think it's a fantastic way to work on your goals without getting overwhelmed. Go check it out!

By the way, with all these changes, I've added a new facebook page just for the blog. You can stay updated on all my blog stuff there, so go like it!
