This week has been a crazy one. Let's just do a quick run-down, shall we?
Tuesday: I had my store exposed to 800 people at the News and Documentary Emmys. I also had a phone interview for a small personal interest piece that should be getting published in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette a few Saturdays down the road. Oh, and then I found out I was in the business section of that same newspaper on Tuesday
Thursday: A photographer came by to get a photo for the interest piece, and I tried on 5-6 outfits last minute because I had no idea what to wear. I then got a little surprise- I also needed to film a short bit about my favorite personal space. That space ended up being the backyard because the rest of our house is about 50-60% under construction.
Are you tired yet? I'm exhausted. I feel like my brain has been used to the point of breaking, but as they say...there ain't no rest for the wicked
I'm headed down to Dallas the second weekend in November for Bloggy Bootcamp...is anyone else going? It's been said that I'm the most awkward person in a group when I know nobody, so come hang out with me!
Did you notice I've changed my commenting format to Disquis? I think it's a little easier to manage because you can reply to comments directly in an email and it shows up on the post too. You can also go to the Disquis website to check all the comments you've made on other blogs to see if you have responses. So fancy!
I made some apple cider sangria last year and guest-posted it over on Jenn's blog. I'm planning on remaking it this weekend just to prove that I still can make yummy things without the help of a kitchen, so stay tuned for the recipe!
Speaking of things to stay tuned for, I've been working on some home office crafts that should be getting posted in the next week or so. I had been planning on posting them earlier, but with this whole Emmy business, it moved to the bottom of my list
-end ramble- Have a good weekend!!
